surfybear metal and pp2+

Can I power a Surfybear Metal reverb pedal with my PP2+? The Surfybear pedal comes with a 12v 1000ma centre positive power supply but apparently the pedal only needs 500ma. Can I get 500ma at 12v from output 5&6 if I use a current doubling cable?...it says in the manual that each channel delivers 25...

I keep finding stuff online that vintage Ibanez AD-80's which I believe other than the different power socket (mini jack rather than barrel jack) are identical to the Maxon AD-80 are positive tip.

Oh..When I said the red/black cable I didn't mean the one provided with the power supply. I bought it separately and have used it to power a Deluxe Memory Man (early 2000s) to achieve the 24v needed for that pedal.

Thanks for the reply but i'm talking about a vintage Maxon AD-80...late 70s...its 18v so I assumed it needed to be powered using the doubling cable.

Hi there, I'm trying to power a vintage Maxon AD-80 from my VoodooLabs PP2+ using a power doubling cable (the one with the red barrel jack on one end and the 2 daisy chain black ones on the other) plugged into input 2 and 3 with the dip switches set to normal. That should provide the 18v this pedal ...
