Re: Tap Tempo

Yes Sir! Who the Devil are you!? :) T Tommy, I "know" you from HRI, I'm Paul from N Ireland. Now I haven't tried this but I did find info about connecting a momentary switch to the expression jacks on a GCP and then assigning the pedal sewttings to a CC number for tap tempo. I'll see if I can find ...

Re: PPS/TC-Helicon Voicetone

Hi there The power requirements of your TC-Helicon Voicetone pedal seems to be identical to that of a Nova Delay pedal. Check out the thread on this subject. Seems the answer is yes on outputs 5 or 6 with the correct Switch setting on the base. Note that it is a PP2 plus unit that this info relates ...

Use Exp Jacks as extra IA Switches?

Josh Since my success with the Damage Control Tap tempo problem, I have a different problem. I am running short on IA switches on my GCP. Would it be possible to gain 2 extra IA switches by using the Pedal jack sockets wired to a switch? I appreciate that the on/off status of such a switch would not...

Re: Instant access button as tap tempo. How?

Great News !! I emailed Damage Control over the weekend and got a very helpful reply from Dave Fruehling. The first reply was on a Saturday evening! It seems that my Glass Nexus was an early model and that they later changed the internal software to accept tap tempo command from a CC message. Even ...

Re: Instant access button as tap tempo. How?

...How is the Glass Nexus? All the demos I've heard sound great. I really like it, the delay side would not be as flexible as your timeline, but it's really nice being able to dial up all the different mod effects so easily. Reverb is good too. However, My Glass Nexus is not responding to CC 38 on ...

Re: Fixing Ground COntrol pro to pedalboard

... Another choice is to use regular hardware to attach it. You can remove the feet and use those holes for screws to the pedalboard. To remove the base and access the feet, you need to take out the screws on the base and 4 on top which require an Allen wrench. Post more questions, ideas, or a pict...

Re: PP2+ and Nova Delay

Thanks for the reply.

That might leave me a couple of outlets short for the 9v pedals but I'm sure I can double up somewhere with out ground loop problems.

PP2+ and Nova Delay

Hi Josh Is it possible to power a Nova Delay from the PP2+? Can it be done from a single outlet ie 5 & 6? The Nova Delay manual says- " The Nova Delay require 12V DC 300 mA. Use the power supply provided in the product box or a power supply with similar specifications " I am asking in advance of buy...

Re: Instant access button as tap tempo. How?

I emailed Damage Control who make the Timeline delay and they told me that there is a CC message that will allow me to set tap tempo from my Ground Control Pro. "You'll want to set up MIDI CC #38 (0x26 if your editor/controller is operating in hexadecimal). Set up the editor/controller to send a va...
