Re: Amp channel switching via GCX

Is the plug on your footswitch a stereo 1/4", like you'd see on a home stereo pair of headphones?

Re: GCX w/ Bogner Ecstasy

I believe the trick with the Ecstacy is that you actually set the loops controlling the channels to latching (Normal on the GCP) rather than momentary... seems weird I know, but it works. Let us know if that helps or makes things worse. I set those three loops to Normal, and it worked on program ch...

GCX w/ Bogner Ecstasy

I own the GCX and GCP, and finally made a Medusa cable so I can control my Bogner Ecstasy amp. I have the GCP set up for 8 instant access and 4 presets. The Ecstasy has three channels, each requiring momentary switches, which I programmed into the GCX. I have no problem changing channels with the th...

Re: Short loop to loop cables

I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron, so I bought a good 6ft. patch cable and some 1/4" plugs, cut that 6-footer into the lengths I needed, and wired up my whole rack from that one cable, including the really short ones for the GCX loops.

Re: Why is the Analog Chorus so bad with drive pedals?

I've never tried Voodoo's chorus pedal, so I can't confirm or deny what you're hearing. But other analog chorus pedals don't handle distortion well either. My old Boss CE-1 got muddy with a drive pedal in front of it, and I tried a TC Electronic chorus recently and got the same thing. From what I've...

Re: Need Pedal Power Box Measurement

Do you mean the Pedal Power 2 Plus? If so, the dimensions can be found on the product info page.

Re: If Reverse Polarity Means Positive Center then say that?

Does anyone know which cable I want to get to power a Radial Tonebone trimode with 15VDC 400mA, center pole positive with my pp2+. I am guessing it is one of these to narrow it down: ppy, ppeh24, diamond pp2+ 18v for memory lane? There is no 15V output from the PP2+. For that, you'll have to wait u...

Re: PP2+ w/ Cry Baby Rack Wah?

The 1st four outputs can be switched tot Boss ACA mode (12.3V DC) by setting the switch to ON. But it won't help you. The DCR-S2R rack wah employs an AC wallwart, not a DC! Oh snap, you're right! I mentioned keeping the GCX wallwart because I knew it was AC, but didn't think to look at the 2SR one....
