Re: New to PX 8plus set up and Advice

Oops! Sorry for the delayed reply here! I'm not 100% sure how to incorporate how you currently use the NS-2 into the PX-8 Plus. We can put all six of PX-8 Plus Loops 1-6 into the Send/Return Loop of the NS-2, but you can't single out just one of these PX-8 Plus Loops to go in the NS-2 Send/Return Lo...

Re: Ground control pro and PX-8 plus

PX-8 Plus does make for a very friendly pedalboard, and being able to remotely control it via MIDI for those times when you just don't want the whole board in front of you is certainly a help when you need it. But I don't think the Ground Control Pro necessarily adds any MIDI capabilities that you w...

Re: Fractal Scene Increment and Controller 123/124

Here is a thread from the Fractal Forum where a user used the Ground Control Pro VCA function to be able to recall specific AxeFX Scenes for a preset. https://forum.fractalaudio.com/threads/voodoo-labs-gcpro-and-axe-fx-scenes.94071/ It is admittedly a bit cumbersome, but it does work. ;) When Ground...

Re: GCP --> GCX Instant Access question

If the Instant Access buttons are set to control a GCX, then you will actually want to go into each Preset and disable the GCX... this will send the preset data without affecting the GCX Loops. You will need to do this on each preset that should NOT change the GCX. 1. Recall a preset that needs to b...

Re: Simple midi controller for PX8+ (or link two?)

PX-8 Plus will Send and Respond to MIDI Program Changes which will work to recall Preset loop combinations but will not work to control individual loops. Your suggestion of eight single-loop presets would technically work, however it would literally be Single-Loop presets in that you would only have...

Re: Merging midi into GCP

Unfortunately the Ground Control Pro will not pass the MIDI Clock data. In order to do that you will need a purpose built MIDI Merger. When you say you want to control "channels 1-8" and "channels 9-14" ...what do you mean exactly? Does this rig actually have a need for data on 14 different MIDI Cha...

Re: New to PX 8plus set up and Advice

The PX-8 Plus Loops are in fact wired in series. The main benefits are that the loops are all True Bypass, so when a loop is "Off" that pedal is completely removed from the signal path, and that with Presets you can perform complicated changes from a single button push while also sending a MIDI Prog...

Re: Dingbat PX and replacing Switcher

It is the very same PX=8 Plus in both cases, yes. When mounted to a Dingbat PX, we do indeed use slightly longer screws. (1/4" on standalone PX-8 Plus. 3/8" on Dingbat PX) However, in your replacement scenario, you would already have the longer screws since they would be on the unit mounted to the D...
