Pedal Power Digital - Analog and Digital Devices?
The Pedal Power Digital has 9v/12 outputs at 400ma each. I have the following items: Strymon Timeline - 300ma @9v (negative tip) Strymon Mobius - 300ma @9v (negative tip) RJM Mini Mixer - 150ma @ 9v (negative tip) Shure SLX Wireless Receiver - 150ma @ 12v (postitive tip) Since all the outputs are is...

Ground Question with PP2+ & Digital
I think I have a ground loop in my rig and I am troubleshooting one of the thousands if issues it may be. I am using a PP2+ to power all my 9v pedals in my rack shelf. These pedals are placed in a RJM Gizmo switcher (had a GCX but needed more loops) in loops before my preamp. I am also using a Digit...

Re: DEAR GAWD!!! PLEASE SAVE ME CONTROL SWITCHER!!!
Actually it would probably be best to make a small box for this. It would only require two 1/4" jacks, a power jack and three wires. If you have a Pedal Power 2+ and aren't already using one of the Sag Outputs, set the DIP switch away from Normal and dial the Sag knob all the way down. Here is a te...

Re: How to Phantom Power a Control Switcher
Nice! I got the midi cable wired and hooked it up. Works great!JohnClark wrote:11V shouldn't be a problem for the Control Switcher.
One question...does the phantom power pass out thru the 'midi in' on the Control Switcher and to other devices previously in my chain? I don't want that....

Re: How to Phantom Power a Control Switcher
As shipped, the Control Switcher will only provide phantom power on its MIDI In. There are jumpers inside that will enable the phantom power thru mode where it will both accept phantom power as well as provide it. In this case, I would simply route the Control Switcher between the controller and th...

How to Phantom Power a Control Switcher
Hi John! I have an Engl preamp that provides phantom power out of its midi in jack (to supply power for the Engl midi footcontrollers). Can I use it to power my Voodoo Control Switcher? I don't, however, want the phantom to continue through the switcher to the other midi devices that are earlier in ...

Re: DEAR GAWD!!! PLEASE SAVE ME CONTROL SWITCHER!!!
This is yet another reason why I continue to stick with Voodoo. Something that takes me weeks and months of scouring the internet, calling people, and posting on forums can get answered in a matter of minutes here.... THANK YOU, JOHN! Now...custom cable...hmmmm....I make cables myself all the time, ...

DEAR GAWD!!! PLEASE SAVE ME CONTROL SWITCHER!!!
For months, I have been trying to find an easy way to sync a Lightfoot Labs Goatkeeper up with my my midi rig (Voodoo Lab GCX, Switcher, etc). Everything I have in my rig is now synced to my midi footcontroller via tap tempo. Additionally, I can output midi time clock from my DAW into my effects cha...

Re: Auxilary of PP AC used to power PP2+
Okay..maybe I wasn't clear....CAN I PLUG MY PEDAL POWER PLUS INTO THE AUXILARY OUTLET ON THE PEDAL POWER AC? This would save me from having to plug both of them into my furman rack conditioner.
Will it be safe this way? Will I get hum? Whaddya think?
