Re: Boss ES-8 and GCX

No problem to program only for the number of Loops you are currently using.

Good Luck!

Re: Pedal power 2 plus setup

I’d suggest using the Courtesy Outlet on the back of the Pedal Power 2+ for the Avalanche Run using its supplied power adapter. This will leave outputs 5 and 6 to power the Tensor and Blue Sky.

I hope that helps!

Re: Connecting a PX8+ and a control switcher

Welcome! Here are some answers to your questions. 1. The Control Switcher will connect to the PX-8 via a MIDI Cable. MIDI Out of the PX-8+ to the MIDI In on the Control Switcher. 2. The Control Switcher won't take up any of the PX-8+ Loops. You will still have all eight PX-8+ Loops for effects. Addi...

Re: PP2+ courtesy to power an 18v MXR pedal?

The Courtesy Outlet is rated for up to 200 Watts... the 18V Adapter you want to use is probably rated at less that 15Watts, so no problem at all!

I hope that helps!

Re: PX8+ and Commander

The Commander will work with the PX-8 or PX-8+, and will be phantom powered via the MIDI Cable. The PX-8/PX-8+ can be added to this Pedal Switcher rig or it can replace the Pedal Switchers. The only difference is that the preset save function will need to be performed on the PX-8/PX-8+ itself rather...

Re: Boss ES-8 and GCX

Are you saying you have to unplug 1/4 inch cables from the back of GCX of those loops that you do not need for each preset? I am kind of in similar situation as I cant figure this one out. No cables need to be unplugged... He is saying that he has found that the ES-8 has the ability to program up t...

Re: GCP, PX8+ amd HX Stomp

I suppose your first step then is to look to the HX Stomp manual for "Block Bypass via MIDI" under the MIDI Section. This tells you how to get into the HX Stomp to either assign a Control Change message to a particular Block Bypass or to at least see which Control Change message might already be ass...

Re: Pedal Power X4 Linear or switching ?

Interesting. Is there any possibility of a "Pedal Power X8" or something similar? i.e. 2000 mA total over 8 outputs? I like that you don't have to worry about which output to use for power hogs like the EQD Avalanche Run. I know that the 4x4 would work, but it is a little nicer to just plug in a bu...

Re: Newest firmware

John - thanks! I was able to pick up a second GCP and install the v2beta chip. so now I have 2 GCPs: GCP1 (v1.13) 4 Presets/bank and GCP2 (v2beta) all IA. I have two follow-up questions. First, is there a replacement I can get for the led screen (the green led screen at the top of the unit)? on the...

Re: Ground Control Pro with Fractal Axe Fx II

Sorry for the delayed reply! Your Ground control Pro is working properly... you just need to program the proper state of the Instant Access LEDs for each preset. Here is how: 1. Call up the Ground Control Pro preset you want to edit. 2. Press any of the Instant Access buttons that should be active f...
