Need help choosing thos power supply with high current setup

Post by 79_Limited » Sun Apr 07, 2019 2:07 pm

I have a simple setup but would like to purchase for this simple setup.

TC Electronics Polytune mini (could use battery if need be)

Atomic Amplifire 3 (needs 1a. AC or DC power)

Seymour Duncan Powerstage 170 (Will need AC power)

Thanks for the help.

Unfortunately, as the requirements for powering Amplifire 3 and Powerstage 170 are quite different from standard effect pedals... none of our DC supplies would be a great fit.

My recommendation is instead, to simply power all three from a power strip or extension chord with their respective adapters/wall-warts.

Ben,

Thanks for the help.

What about this setup?

TC Polytune 9V 100ma
SPPS3000 9V 200ma
Atomic Amplifire-Box 9V 200ma
Strymon Dig 9V 250ma

Would the Pedal Power X4 work in this setup? I Pedal Power 2 would work but I am looking for something smaller in size.

Thank you,

Greg

Yes, Pedal Power X4 could be used to power them all.
