Hey.. i understand that output 5-6 with DIP switch "ON" will power my modeling Line 6 DL4.... but i dont understand WHY??
The Line 6 DL4 power requirements are
9VAC 1200mA minimum
and the Output 5-6 With DIP switch "on" output is..
14.5V / 12V (unregulated)
50mA / 200mA+
...so.. th eLine 6 is a ) volt... adn the 5-6 output are more than 12V.... i dont get it...

The Line 6 modeling pedals can accept AC or DC power. The Pedal Power 2+ provides DC power. There are no problems when doing this, in fact, when we designed this part of the Pedal Power 2+ we used the DL-4 for testing. When outputs 5 or 6 are switched away from Normal they are unregulated which means that the current draw will set the voltage. If you were able to measure the voltage of that output while powering your DL-4 you will see that it has dropped down to just over 9 volts.
