I recently bought a Pedal Power Mondo but am getting significant hum whenever I try to use both high current output pairs. Everything is fine if I only use one of the pairs, regardless of which one it is or whether I use the 9V or 12V output, but as soon as I try to plug any pedals into the second one with the other one in use, it hums like crazy. To be clear, the hum is when I use one output from each high current pair; I am not trying to use both outputs from a single pair.

My pedal chain is as follows:

Guitar => Polytune 2 => Boss NS-2 Input => NS-2 Send => Dunlop 535Q Wah => Diamond Compressor => Empress Para EQ => NS-2 Return => NS-2 Output => Amp Input (Peavey 6505+ 112)

Effects Loop Send => Digitech Whammy V => MXR EVH Flanger => MXR Analog Chorus => MXR EVH Phase 90 => Line 6 DL4 => Effects Loop Return

How I have them plugged into the Mondo:
High-Current Output Pair 1: DL4 into the 12V output, nothing in the 9V output
High-Current Output Pair 2: Nothing in either output
9V High-Current Output 1: Para EQ
9V High-Current Output 2: Diamond Compressor
Regular Output 1: Polytune
Regular Output 2: Analog Chorus
Regular Outputs 3 & 4: Flanger
Regular Output 5: Wah
Regular Output 6: Whammy
Regular Output 7: NS-2
Regular Output 8: Phaser

This setup creates no hum, but if I try to switch any pedal other than the DL4 to High-Current Pair 2, I get hum. Switching the DL4 to pair 2 creates no hum, but if while it's in pair 2 I switch any other pedal to pair 1, same deal, ton of hum.

I have tried this setup using a one-spot and a few individual power cables and did not get any hum, so I'm assuming it must be something to do with the power supply. Is my pedal defective or is there something I'm missing?

Well that seems very strange!

Please give us a call or write to info@voodoolab.com so we can arrange for an inspection of this Mondo.

Sorry for the trouble!
