Proper power for TC Electronic pedal

Post by DTCBAND » Sat Jun 30, 2018 11:32 pm

Hey everyone! New to the group and to building my first pedal board. Recently purchased a voodoo lab pedal power 2 plus and was gifted a TC Electronic Alter Ego X4. It runs on 300ma and wanted to confirm ill be able to power it with my power source if i purchase a doubler cable. My second question is that if this is true, do I buy the 2.1mm or the 2.5mm.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

In fact, a doubler is not required (the actual current draw of Alter Ego X4 is less than 250mA).

To power your Alter Ego X4 with Pedal Power 2 Plus use output 5 or 6, DIP switch set to NORMAL (9V), with one of the all black (standard polarity) cables supplied.

Cheers!
