New to the forum! HEX related question

Anyone have any tips on attaching a HEX to the bottom of a PedalTrain Classic? I wonder why VL hasn't designed anything for this. Contacted support 5 days ago, and no answer yet. I'd rather have a bracket instead of using 3M Dual Lock. Thanks in advance.
