Powering ND-1 and EHX POG2

Post by raybdoc@yahoo.com » Thu Nov 12, 2015 10:58 am

To power a TC Electronics Nova Drive 1 and an Electro-harmonix POG2, will this work?

- For POG2, use current doubler cable from outputs 1 and 2 on normal setting

- For ND-1, use current doubler cable from outputs 5 and 6 away from normal setting

I you are using a Pedal Power 2+, then yes each pedal will require a Current Doubler Adapter. The Nova Drive (NDR-1) would use both outputs 5 and 6 with the DIP switches set away from Normal leaving the POG2 to be powered from any two remaining outputs with their DIP switches set to Normal.

Good Luck!

p.s. The ND-1 (Nova Delay) can be powered directly from output 5 or 6 with the corresponding DIP switch set away from Normal using one of the included standard barrel cables.

So I plugged my Nova Drive NDR-1 into the Pedal Power 2+ as indicated before for about 30 seconds but it didn't power up, and now it won't power up any more with the AC/DC adaptor that came with the pedal (and which was working fine). Is the pedal destroyed?

Well that is no good!

If you are certain the pedal is dead, please give us a call or write to info@voodoolab.com so we can arrange for you to send us the pedal, the cables you used, and the Pedal Power for inspection. Be sure to mention this thread.

We will get to the bottom of this and get you up and running!
