Is it possible to bypass the buffer on the PX-8 Plus? If so, how?

The buffer can be completely removed from the signal path on PX-8, or PX-8 Plus by moving a pair of internal jumpers from "Quiet Switching" to "Bypass".

Here is how to do it:

1. Remove the eight Black #2 Phillips head chassis screws (four on the bottom and four on the top).
2. With the PX-8 facing you, pull the top panel towards you and up to get it out of the way. (PX-8 Plus will have a ground wire attached to the actuator for button #8)
3. The jumpers are next to the Output jack. Lift them both off of the "Quiet Switching" pins to the Left, and place them back down on the "Bypass" pins to the Right as shown on the diagram on the circuit board.
4. Replace the top panel and the eight Black #2 Phillips head chassis screws.
5. Rock Out!

Let us know if you run into any trouble!
