Hello everyone, I am a new Voodoo customer, and just started to setup my rack with the following configuration:

Voodoo Labs Hex
Voodoo Labs Commander
Eventide H9 Effects Pedal
Alembic F-1X Bass Preamp
Sansamp RPM Bass Preamp
Sansamp Geddy Lee Bass Preamp (not here yet :( )
Radial Pro DI
Sennheiser D1 Wireless

I have the HEX wired the following way:
[Loop 1]
NOTHING CONNECTED

[Loop 2]
Input - Sennheiser D1
Send - Alembic F-1X input
Return - Alembic F-1X output (full range)

[Loop 3]
Send - Sansamp RPM input 2 (on the back of the unit)
Return - Sansamp RPM output

[Loop 4] - FUTURE
Send - Geddy Lee input 2 (on the back of the unit)
Return - Geddy Lee output

[Loop 5]
Send - Eventide H9 Input (mono)
Return - Eventide H9 Output (mono)

[Loop 6]
Send - Reserved for future use
Return - Reserved for future use
Output - Input of Radial PRO DI

[MIDI IN]
Voodoo Labs Commander

[MIDI OUT]
Eventide H9 MIDI IN

What I want to know are the following things:

[1] Can I use the loop 1 of the HEX as a Tap Tempo interface to the H9's expression / tap tempo input? I think this is yes. I know for sure I can setup the H9's expression pedal input to be an AUX switch, and use this aux switch to control the tap tempo.

[2] If #1 is possible, is there a way to program the commander so that my button #1 or #5 is always for tap tempo, and not patch switching?

[3] Will the Commander / HEX configuration also pass the same patch change information to the H9, so I can use this to switch the effect on the H9?

Yes, I know, for a bass player I am crazy with three preamps, but why should you guitar players have all the fun? Also, we play strictly with in ear monitors on stage, so I do not have a power amp to connect, that is why I go directly to the DI and do not mention another THRU connection on the DI to my power amp.

Looking forward to your responses!
-Jeff
