dumb question, I'm a noob.

How do I get the presets from my GCP so that I can use upload to https://gcproeditor.com/ and then dump back to GCP?

You will need a MIDI interface for your computer and any sort of MIDI SysEx program that accepts MIDI bulk dumps, like Bome's Send SX or MIDI Ox for instance.

The Ground Control Pro can then be set up to dump its memory to the program, then the file created by this program can be dropped into the editor. Once editing is finished the editor will generate a new file that can be dropped into the SysEx program and sent to the Ground Control Pro.

Sending and Receiving a Bulk Dump is shown in the Ground Control Pro manual in the Memory Backup and Restore section under MIDI in Setup Mode.

I hope that helps!

Any MIDI Interface should work... for instance I often use the M-Audio Uno, a dead simple USB to MIDI interface.
