Using 4 x Hex with FAMC Liquid Foot

Post by Veross » Sun Sep 16, 2018 5:20 am

Hi,

I have a FAMC Liquid Foot controller and I want to use it with 4 x hex audio switchers. I’m looking at using a midi phantom power box to power the pedal. The question I ask is, Can I have each hex hooked up to an isolated power source and still run midi through without phantom power going through ? Or is there another option that I could pursue ? Just wanna get things right the first time.

Cheers

A HEX will apply power to Pins 1 and 3 on it's MIDI In Jack. You can certainly connect one HEX to another with no problem as the HEX MIDI Out does not connect these pins to anything.

I hope that helps!
