Pedal Power Digital 8 pedal daisy chain?

Post by Stringsablazin » Mon Nov 06, 2017 12:34 pm

Hi, just wanted to get confirmation on this setup:

Eventide Timefactor

Boss Slicer

Dunlop Mini Wah

Mesa Boogie Flux Five

DOD 440 Envelope Filter

TC Electronic Viscous Vibe

TC Electronic Ditto Looper

EHX Octavix

I'm thinking I can power the mini wah, flux five, envelope filter, ditto, and Viscous from a daisy chain and the Timefactor, Slicer, and Octavix on separate outputs. Will this work?

Appreciate any input!

The five pedals you want to daisy chain should fall in at under 400mA when all combined so there will certainly be enough current. Of course they will not be isolated from eachother so I cannot say if there will be any interaction between them when ran this way, but there will certainly be no harm in trying!

I hope that helps!

Thanks, John!

One more question, I'm hoping to use the Pedal Power Digital with a portable battery like this one: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01M3S00H0/ ... 1AQ6LNO8FT

Would it cause any harm to the Pedal Power Digital as the portable battery's power is draining?

Thank You!

I seriously doubt that thing could cause harm to any of this stuff under normal operating conditions.

I mean maybe you could drop it from the ceiling down onto a pedalboard if you wanted to break stuff ;)
