PedalPower 2 Plus and Radial Plexitube

Post by JabonUy » Thu Nov 16, 2017 2:42 pm

Dear friends from VoodooLabs Forum

It is possible to supply power from my PedalPower 2 Plus to my guitar pedal Plaexitube from the brand Radial?

The input of the pedal is:
15VDC 400mA, center pole positive

Thanks in advance

Probably, not but if it's actual current draw is less than 250mA and if 18VDC can be used*... then, yes.

Because of its power requirements (15VDC, unusual for guitar pedals), you cannot power your Radial pedal from the Pedal Power DC outputs.

However, you could power it from the AC courtesy outlet with its supplied 15V adapter/wall-wart.

*Note: According to the folks at Radial, some 15VDC Radial pedals can be run at 18VDC but doing so may decrease the lifespan of the pedal. You may wish to inquire with Radial for details regarding your specific pedal model.

Cheers!
