Pedal Power 2+ Pedal Combo

Post by patrick550 » Mon Nov 27, 2017 12:58 am

Hi all,

I'm looking at purchasing the Pedal Power 2+ power supply but not sure if it will suit my most used pedal combination. My pedals and their power requirements are:

Neunaber Wet Reverb- 9v, 80ma or 95ma
Mooer Re-Echo Twin Series Delay- 9v, 210ma
Electro-Harmonix Micro Synth- 9v, 55ma
Gameganger Audio Plus Pedal- 9v, 100ma
Hotone Tremolo- 9v, 17ma
Pigtronix Motherhip 2- 18v, 300ma

My main enquiry is whether or not the power supply can comfortably satisfy the requirements of the Mothership2 using the adaptor that doubles the voltage. I know one is able to join to outpus together to create 18v but will that also provide 300ma? If so, will it also work with the above combination?

Cheers!
yea jazz

This setup would probably be better served using a Pedal Power 4x4. two of it's High Current 9V Outputs combined with the Voltage Doubler Adapter would power the Mothership 2 with no trouble for sure.
A third High Current 9V Output would be used to power the Preecho Pro.
The rest of the pedals could each be powered from any of the remaining 9V Outputs.

I hope that helps!
