Hi there,
I’m not sure if the Liquid foot controller has GCX capabilities, the GCX is on midi channel 16 and is controlled by the following commands.
MIDI CH16, CC80, Data 0 (Loop 1 Off)
MIDI CH16, CC81, Data 0 (Loop 2 Off)
MIDI CH16, CC82, Data 127 (Loop 3 ON)
MIDI CH16, CC83, Data 127 (Loop 4 ON)
MIDI CH16, CC84, Data 0 (Loop 5 Off)
MIDI CH16, CC85, Data 0 (Loop 6 Off)
MIDI CH16, CC86, Data 0 (Loop 7 Off)
MIDI CH16, CC87, Data 0 (Loop 8 Off)
There is a post where John has helped someone out with more info on this.

If it doesn’t have GCX support, I’d say that you are back to where you are with the single GC Pro.
This is only a problem if you wish to have instant access to the loops of the second GCX. They are all able to be switched with presets.
There is a Beta firmware that enables IA (Instant Access) mode, so you have 2 banks of 12 Instant Access switches or if you get a second GC Pro, you can have the Preset GC Pro in Preset mode, the second in IA mode and have 20 Instant Access buttons, plus the other 12 on the second bank. Also, you can have the preset GC Pro in 10 preset mode and the second GC Pro in IA mode and have your 10 presets and 24 IA switches.

Re: GCP 1-4 preset button second function
Before I put the beta 2.0 chips in both my GC Pro’s, I had the 1.13 chips in mine. They never had that function in them. My beta 2.0 chips don’t have it either. The only difference between the 1.13 and 2.0 is the IA mode. All buttons can be instant access.
John from Voodoo Labs, says there isn’t much different from 1.11 to 1.13, here is a post with his reply.

Re: Pedal Power 2 unit and EVH Chorus Pedal
Hi there,
It should run fine from any of the outlets, does it run alright with the battery? Maybe give this a go, if it doesn’t, it may have something wrong with it.
Do other pedals, reverb etc. run fine in the outlets 1-4 and 7 & 8?

Hi there, the firmware update is a chip replacement, you can’t update via any other way???
Here’s a link to what John from Voodoo Labs says about it

This is on the Pedaltrain site, looks the same as Voodoo Labs, maybe you can modify them.

The dimensions are 21.5" x 3" x 2". 2.75” between switches.

Re: voodoo lab pedal switcher and PX-8 Plus
Yes it can control the pedal switchers. The Commander can control it all, the Commander will see the PX+ as a switcher itself. The PX+ will need to be set to midi channel 1.
I’ve never tried this but it should work.

Re: Voodoo Hex and Commander
Hi there,
It will work fine how you have it, only thing I’d change is where you have the volume pedal, they work better, for distortion anyway, in the first effects loop before those effects. If you use it before the distortion or gain stages of the amp, it lowers the amount of guitar signal going to them which makes them sound weak. If you do it in the loop, it lowers the driven signal. Give each a go though, you might be after the lower volume to the effects and pedals.
As for controlling your amp channels, that depends on what amp you are getting and what can be done?
Hope this helps you out, any more help needed, just ask

Re: GCP 1-4 preset button second function
Hi there,
Did you change the chip your self? Maybe pull it out and push it back in again, might not be seated right or something. The chip might be faulty to. The only place to check is in setup and special to see if you have something turned on in there, but if you reset, highly unlikely
What firmware chip have you put in? Maybe this is a feature

Re: GCP 1-4 preset button second function
Hi there,
Did you buy it 2nd hand or anything? If so you may need to reset it? It may be in a special mode for the G-Force, Flextone or Eleven Rack. You may have to check and turn them off. I’d just go through the settings and see. Get back to us with what you find.
