So, I just ordered a second PX-8 (Plus) so that I can have 16 individual pedal loops without daisy-chaining any pedals.
My question would be, how do I hook the second PX-8 in? I'm assuming I daisy chain the 2 PX-8s with a Midi cable and then run a midi cable from the last PX-8 to the Commander?
Does this track?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you...

PX8 Setup, with multiple pedals in front AND in FX loop
OK, so I've reached out before with setup question here. I'm back again, as I need some guidance for a rewire.
Currently, I'm running the following on my board:
Tuner
Wah
Green Ringer-style Octave
One-Knob Fuzz
Op Amp Fuzz
OCD
Klon Clone
<The tuner through the Klon clone are all daisy-chained together and run into the insert return on the PX8>
Then,
Ego Comp (7)
EQ (8)
<7 and 8 out of the FX Loop>
Then,
Diamond Trem (1)
Phase 90 (2)
DD500 (3)
Carbon Copy (4)
Malekko Ekko (5, but going away and leaving an open loop)
HOF Mini (6)
When I run the rig through my PT20, which has an FX loop, I run the 'Out' from the PX8 to the input on the amp. I run the FX send from the amp into the 'Input' of the PX8. I run the Insert send from the PX8 into the FX Return of the amp.
When I run into my non-FX Loop amps, I run the PX8 'Out' into the PX8 'Input'. Then the Insert Send into input of the non-FX loop amp.
I'm trying to determine if this is my best route, particularly with the way I am running the tuner through Klon chain; particularly on the PT20.
I have one loop freed up in modulation effects, having pulled the Malekko Ekko.
Is there a better way to deal with the pedals that are not currently running through individual PX8 loops?
Any suggestions on an 'ideal' set up in these circumstances?
Thanks!

Re: Dual Amp Set-up Possibilities with PX8.
One is a Friedman PT-20, which has the FX loop. The other is an Orange AD30.
I would like to A/B/Y them.
However, it would also be nice to make the pedal board useable with one or the other, in case I don't want to drag both rigs with me.

Dual Amp Set-up Possibilities with PX8.
So, I've currently got my PX8 running into the effects loop as follows:
1. Guitar into tuner, into wah, into TS9, into boost, into the Insert Return of PX8.
2. Loops 7 & 8 controlling compressor and Big Muff.
3. Out of PX8 directly into amp.
4. FX Send from amp into input of PX8.
5. Loops 1-6 controlling phaser, tremolo, DD500, delay 2, delay 3 and reverb.
6. Insert Send on the PX8 into FX Return on amp.
I would like to run an ABY pedal set-up, so that I can use 2 amps. 1 amp has an FX loop, the other doesn't.
So, the way it is set up now, I can only run the non-FX loop amp dry.
What are some ideas/ options to at least be able to run some of the effects through the non-FX loop amp?
The DD500 has Stereo outs, so I thought maybe some possibilities there.
Just puzzled as to which way to turn; without having to set up a second pedalboard.
Thanks!

Adding loops to a preset on PX8, while on an active preset.
I just ordered a PX8 for my board and I can't seem to find the answer for which I'm looking on line or in the manual.
My question is, if you have your presets programmed, and you are in an active preset, can you color that preset with other loops without affecting the preset?
For example, you just want to add a loop, that is not in a preset, for a brief portion of what you are playing and then turn the added loop off so you just have what is programmed in the preset?
Thanks!
