Re: Current Doubler Adapter cable (p/n PPAP)

Looking at upgrading to a Pedal Power 3 to power a Quad cortex which needs at least 2000mA to run .

Would I need 3 of the current adapters to combine the 4x500mA ports .
It's been successfully done with a cioks dc7
Unless you can make one up cheaper .

Update

Actually found out the quad Cortex needs a 12v at least 2000mA

Thanks

boBoss wl-50 wireless

I have the Boss wl-50 wireless transmitter and the Pedal Power 2+, I'm unsure if this can power the WL-50 as I've noticed the power fluctuates when using the 2plus and I have to unplug and plug it back in so it's abit of a hit and miss.
Do I need to combine ports 5 and 6 to give me 500mA or ports 4 and 5 to give me 350mA

Boss specs below.

WL-50 power consumption. Power consumption during wireless communication: 60 mA. Power consumption during transmitter charging: 320 mA.

recommendations for Irig Stomp I/O and wammy Ricochet

HI Guys

Im looking for some power suggestions as my previous pedal power does'nt power the Wammy Ricochet pedal plus i have a Irig Multimedia Stomp I/O floorBoard controller which the manual says use the included AC adaptor

Use only the specified AC adaptor you can buy at: www.ikmultimedia.com/irigpsu3a
Use only the specified AC adaptor (iRig PSU 3A) and make sure the line voltage at the installation matches the
input voltage specified on the AC adaptor’s body.
IK Multimedia will not be responsible of any damage caused by usage of any AC adaptor other than the
specified one (iRig PSU 3A).
The usage of AC adaptors other than the specified one (iRig PSU 3A) could compromise the user experience in
terms of:
• Safety risk
• Apple device charging performances
• Noise performances

but the specs shows .

Conversion: 24-bit A/D, 24-bit D/A
Sampling Rate: 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, 88.2 kHz and 96 kHz
Power: USB bus powered (when used with a computer) or DC IN
Device Connection: USB B-Type and Mini-DIN

https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/i ... ?p=manuals

The Adaptor says on the bottom:

Input: 100-240V~50/60Hz 0.75A
Output: 5.0V 300mA 15W
Approval NO:TUV020538EA - + (minus-plus)

The Stomp I/O can also power from usb such as a laptop or a AC plug like one used for a phone etc.

Is there a product that can cater for both devices as well as a few more 9V pedals

thanks
