Wow, this is exactly what I was posting about earlier. This memory dump will not work if you have a Sweetwater 11R because they preload the first bank with the artist presets, many of which are pretty good.WhatZat wrote:According to what you are writing I am under the impression that all of the 'artist' presets that Sweetwater loads into the Eleven Rack would be negatively affected? Only the Factory Presets would be positively affected by the new dump?
Thanks

Re: Ground Control Pro + Eleven Rack Expansion Pack
This is all well and good if you did not purchase your Eleven Rack from Sweetwater. They preload the first set up preset banks with the artist presets while the second set of presets, the factory presets, are the ones that are controlled by this memory dump and therefore they don't align my GCP with my 11R. I triedd a few times to make it line up but its a manual process at best.
Does anyone out there happen to have a memory dump from a Sweetwater Eleven Rack to co

Re: Where is GCP firmware update for 11R?
This is great John. I cannot wait to get my hands on the update, will watch the announcments closely. I am really digging the GCP and 11R, opening whole new doors and levels for my guitar playing. Just wish I had this technology when I was in my teens and twenties!JohnClark wrote:Here is the answer again then...![]()
The new Ground Control Pro software will include a template that loads all the factory preset names and configures the Instant Access buttons to control individual effect bypass and tap tempo on Eleven Rack.
The new Ground Control Pro software will include the ability to perform MIDI Bank Change so every patch location can be recalled on virtually any processor.

Re: Where is GCP firmware update for 11R?
Thanks John. So the new firmware will completely map all 11R presets? Will it also map the instant access controllers?JohnClark wrote:The new software is coming soon, but I have no release date to share with you at this time. The update will be in the form of a chip that can be installed by the user, there will be no option to download it. Once there is a real release date to share, you can bet it will be immediately posted to the announcements section.
In the interim I can help you with any questions you may have if you currently have a Ground Control Pro and an Eleven Rack setup you want to configure.
I think I asked this before: I want to be able to access presets above 128. If the firmware will do it I can wait. If not then I would like to know how to do it.

Where is GCP firmware update for 11R?
Sean Halley refers to it in the newest videos, but where is it and when can we expect to be able to download?
Thanks
Mark

Re: Ground Control Pro Firmware update for Digi Eleven Rack
Thanks John, I finally figured out how to load the presets I want into the GCP from 11R. I guess there is no way to access the presets beyond the first 128 on the 11R though, huh? Or will this be possible with the firmware upgrade? If so, when will it be available?JohnClark wrote:Regardless of the mode chosen (10 Presets vs. 4 Presets per Bank) all Ground Control Pro presets are programmable for the patches recalled on your Eleven Rack. Check out the Select Preset section of the Ground Control Pro manual for information on how to select the bank type, then find Assigning MIDI Program Changes under the Edit Preset section for information on how to make Ground Control Pro presets recall the desired patches.
Also, now how do I get the 8 instant access buttons to control the 8 variables for each preset on the 11R: amp, wah, distortion, modulation, delay, reverb, fx1, fx2?

Re: Ground Control Pro Firmware update for Digi Eleven Rack
I want to individually assign my favorite presets to the GCP, rather than the controller trying to populate the 10 presets/bank. As you know, the 11R has a maximum of 208 presets. When the GCP is set to 10 presets/bank, it tries to sequentially populate the 200 presets, but it does not come out right. Plus, I don't really care for all the presets and I want the flexibility to create new presets on the fly and have them saved to the GCP and 11R.JohnClark wrote:Sorry to be so short on details at this time. I can tell you that the changes specific to Eleven Rack are really just a pre-loaded template that has the preset names and Instant Access buttons assigned. I do realize this is quite useful to start with, but there is nothing new in this regard that cannot be done with the current Ground Control Pro software.
What is it you would like to do? Perhaps I can help you get up and running right away with your current setup.
Should I be using the 4 presets/bank with Instant Access instead?
I still want the firmware update though!
