First time poster here. Can the Boss ES8 be powered by the X4? I use the X4 with the wall adapter, not the conversion kit.

Yes, Pedal Power X4 can power the Boss ES-8, easily.

To power the ES-8 with X4, use any of the 9VDC outputs with one of the all black (standard polarity) cables.
